Mountain Bikes
The mountain bike tour begins in Agia Efimia with a short briefing and bike preparation.
The route follows the coastal road to Sami, visiting Melissani Lake, Drogarati Cave, and some hidden spots. Riders cycle through olive groves and oak forests, climb into the mountains, passing monasteries and earthquake-affected villages, with stunning views of the Ionian Sea.
There are two stops: Palia Vlachata village for rest and the Monastery of Themata at the highest point. The ride ends with a downhill asphalt stretch back to Agia Efimia.
The 35 km route features mostly dirt roads and some rocky sections, with about 700 meters of climbing. Basic bike skills are needed. A group dinner at a local restaurant may follow.
